Advisor,
Location: OCONUS, Afghanistan
Clearance: TS/SCI
OVERVIEW
The CAAT RC COIN Advisor provides subject matter expertise in the theory, doctrine, and practice of COIN operations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Provide COIN SME support to CAAT headquarters, RC Teams and supported units
• Monitor, assess and report to CAAT HQs and RC teams on the COIN performance of personnel and organizations in theater
• Develop and propose testing, fielding and implementation of COIN solutions including, but not limited to, new tactics, equipment, technology, training, doctrine and concepts, in support of CAAT RC Teams and supported units
• Provide COIN field advice and assistance as needed to RC headquarters and tactical units to improve operational performance
• Collect, refine, disseminate, monitor and assess COIN best practices in theater
• Maintain continuous communications with the RC CAAT Team Leader and report on their location, activities, well‐being and operational needs
• Perform other tasks as directed by RC Team Leader or CAAT HQs

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in strategic analysis or COIN‐related field
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in counterinsurgency‐related fields and previous operational experience in OIF/OEF campaigns . With a majority of time in AFG.
• All applicants for this position must possess a current DoD TS/SCI clearance in order to be considered for employment
• Must be willing to deploy to live and work in a potentially hostile environment designated by the US Government as an Imminent Danger Zone or Hostile Fire Zone
• Must be willing and able to live and work under field conditions, to include living and working in temporary facilities (i.e., tents)
• This position requires superior communications skills and experience working daily with General Officers or equivalents on operational or administrative elements
• This position requires the contractor to be trained and equipped to operate in the field, and to spend approximately 15‐20 days a month embedded at the tactical level under austere conditions

Intelligence Advisor,

OVERVIEW
The CAAT RC Intelligence Advisor provides reliable expert advice on all matters pertaining to the application and integration of intelligence into COIN operations and a multi‐echelon, full spectrum COIN strategy in support of COMISAF intent.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Coordinate with all RC intelligence elements to identify and exploit COIN‐focused intelligence opportunities, requirement or capability gaps, and ensure unity of intelligence support to COIN campaign plan and objectives
• Provide expert advice and assistance to tactical intelligence elements in the field from the lowest echelon of intelligence support to the division level, coaching and mentoring as required to improve operational performance
• As directed, shall produce analytical reports and products detailing intelligence processes and effectiveness in support of COIN operations

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in intelligence or COIN‐related field
• Requires formal professional intelligence training
Experience:
• Minimum of 15 years of verifiable professional experience in inter-agency intelligence operations‐or 15 years combined applicable education and practical experience collecting, analyzing, and fusing information from various intelligence disciplines to support full‐spectrum operations and implementation of COIN strategy
• All applicants for this position must possess a current DoD TS/SCI clearance in order to be considered for employment
• Must be willing to deploy to live and work in a potentially hostile environment designated by the US Government as an Imminent Danger Zone or Hostile Fire Zone
• Must be willing and able to live and work under field conditions, to include living and working in temporary facilities (i.e., tents)
